Join us on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Hynds for a look at new pieces It's the two-year anniversary of the Hynds Gallery, and we will be celebrating on Thursday, Oct. 10th, during the Cheyenne Artwalk. Come and see the current happenings with new paintings by Kevin Robinett and Mike McIntosh, along with sculpture and original prints by Greg Fladager, and original paintings by Donna Schultz. Also, the Blue Door Gallery next door has a great new exhibit, and the adjacent Three Crows has its ever creative local crafts, gifts, and art. Art@the Hynds collective artist, Terry Kreuzer will be giving a free gallery talk on Sunday the 18th entitled; How to Interpret & Decipher Art 101. She will discuss how she looks at art using examples

Artist, Win Ratz, will be leading a free make and take origami demonstration on Feb. 4th from 2-4. Drop in and learn to make origami hearts and flowers just in time to make an original, handmade Valentine's Day card. Win will also have her cards for sale for that someone special in your life. Lynn Newman will be giving a free pastel demo this Sunday from 3-4pm. Don't miss this opportunity to get some insight into Lynn's process and materials. "Like all children, I began drawing at a very early age, and like most artists, I just never stopped. As a retired art teacher, I'm envious of how young children approach art with the uninhibited assurance to try new things; and the imagination to make it happen. It's this sense of wonder and experimentation that I try to approach in my paintings, some 60 years after those first drawings."
